Spending all my earnings to better my life. But hey you know what? I got decent deals of some of the stuff I bought. This year was mainly electronics, but next year I promise to do something about my wardrobe.

I don’t want a case that is too heavy or takes up too much space. I have decided to purchase a mid-size tower case that was on sale. It has a simple look to it and also has many fans built in. I just hope that the space that’s left over inside is enough to withhold a cool temperature for a long period of time.

My first step of building a desktop will be choosing a processor. When choosing a processor, only two brands really come to mind: Intel or AMD. I really don’t have any knowledge of knowing which one is better; However, I can tell you that these two companies have been competitors for a really long time. I was pretty impulsive when I picked out my processor. I tried to stick a to a $200 budget for my processor but ending up purchasing an Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge processor on Amazon for $219.99.

Before I begin this blog post I just want to say that I have no knowledge of computers whatsoever. After stating that, I want to build a computer with a $900 budget. You may ask why I don’t just go out and purchase a prebuilt computer from Dell or something. I’m going to tell you that I want to spend around the same price but be able to modify certain parts so that it can improve its performance. Also I want to take this chance to learn more about computers. I already know that I probably have to spend several hours researching computer parts and how they work before I go out and actually purchase the parts. But this can be a fun experience. I’m excited.
For the past few weeks, I was hired as an independent canvasser for the Ron Kim Campaign. I must say that it has been a great experience for me. I got to learn about politics as well as making some extra money on the side. I just wanted to wish Ron Kim good luck tomorrow during the election against Phil Gim. I hope you win so all our hard work doesn’t go to waste. Hopefully I will have time to swing by my poll site and vote.
